LEEF
Lifting up
Educating
Empowering
Families & Friends
of veterans who have a traumatic brain injury or post-traumatic stress disorder.
LEEF falls into two branches. The first is an eight week experience to begin the process of lifting up, educating and empowering families and caregivers to look at their new life, after their loved ones injuries.
The second branch consists of four sessions of a more intensive look into the invisible wounds of traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Trained facilitators lead the LEEF programs. LEEF is not your average support group. The sessions are interactive, are a combined experience that uses all of your senses and will help empower individuals to use what they experience in the sessions to create a difference in their own life, the life of the injured veteran and to reach out to others who share similar adversities.
